IGS experiential learning programs provide Berkeley students with the opportunity to learn about politics, public policy, and government through practical experiences at all levels of public service. These programs include fellowships ranging from a single semester or summer to a 10-month appointment, and include opportunities across the country, in California's capital and in local governments around the state. We seek to minimize the cost of these programs to students and their families, helping to ensure they are available to all students, regardless of personal financial background.
