Zainab Khan

Zainab Khan is a first-generation transfer student at the University of California, Berkeley studying political science and psychology. She was born in Pakistan, raised in Texas, and is now lives in California for college. She is passionate about international relations and the effect of aid on developing nations. Previously she has worked in the nonprofit sector helping get humanitarian aid to war-torn communities. In the future, Zainab hopes to be able to help marginalized communities both at home and around the globe, by working on creating sustainable change and proactive policies. After graduation, Zainab is hoping to attend law school in order to be able to work in civil rights and human rights law.
