Celene Bolaños is a first-generation college student at UC Berkeley, double-majoring in International Development Studies and Latin American Literatures. She is currently working on her thesis about Haitian mobility across the Americas as a Haas Scholar and will work directly with refugees during her internship in the spring with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career dedicated to the protection of international human rights.
